Securing Plastics Product Range
The purpose of adding securing devices to plastic is to join plastics together or joining the plastic item to another structure. If the plastic is the same polymer, we are able to weld it and in this case have excellent welding capabilities for various types of materials. However should the material be dissimilar then other securing devices are required.
Eyelets, Brass, Nickel, Plastic
Description
Eyelets are often reinforced so that great pressure and tension can be applied to a certain point within material and it can be drawn tightly into a closed position.
Handles, Ratchets
Description
A securing device used to carry and secure weight. Designed specifically for the product and its uses – Power Plastics is able to add handles to enable ease of use of various products.

Reinforcing
Description
Where great use and excess wear and tear is experienced on plastic products, Power Plastics apply reinforced material to their end products. This not only adds to the overall aesthetics of the product in terms of a high quality finish but it also protects and enhances the life span of the product.
Sleeves
Description
When tension is applied to plastic, a sleeve is often a good solution whereby the “load” is spread over the entire sleeve area. Sleeves provide yet another securing device and finishing touch to our products.
Strapping Nylon, Polypropylene, Paraweb
Description
Frequent use of a product in the same way often calls for strapping to be an integral part of the design of the product. To this end Power Plastics are able to secure straps to our covers and liners. In the case of shipping container liners, our paraweb staps take the place of wooden bulkheads enabling 20 tonnes of cargo to be secured behind the bulkhead.
Ties
Description
A well designed and secured product with ties placed in strategic places adds to the overall look and feel of our end products.
Toggles
Description
Male and Female toggles create a tight fitting button type securing device to secure layers of unrelated plastic materials.
Velcro
Description
For rapid and regular access, Velcro provides a good solution and is secured to our plastic covers and liners when required.
Zips, Gas tight zips
Description
Power Plastics works with conventional and not so conventional zips. We sew and weld zips in place to provide not only a secure join but also when needed gas tight zips.
